Anne Mlod, received the 2108 Louise Bechtel Fellowship from the American Library Association to study how slavery has been represented in children's literature.  She studied at the University of Florida's Mary Baldwin Children's Historical Library and will share the various perspectives on slavery she found based on geography and religion. Anne is a librarian at Genesee Elementary School and is Vice President of the Tubman Boosters.
